About Calipso Ocean Lodge
Nestled in the lush surroundings of Playa Avellana in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, this charming 6-room eco-friendly jungle lodge offers a peaceul and intimate tropical escape. Located just a 7-minute walk (approx. 550–700 meters) from beautiul Playa Avellanas, an uncrowded gem with surf breaks for all levels.

The lodge features an outdoor swimming pool, pool bar, tranquil garden area, and a dedicated yoga deck—perfect for morning practice, relaxation, and enjoying the surrounding nature.
The property also offers a fully equipped outdoor shared kitchen with all essential amenities, giving guests the flexibility to prepare their own meals. Conveniently located along the main road, the lodge is within walking distance of local restaurants and bars. Our property is quiet, safe and secure. Close to everything, yet your own piece of paradise. Liberia International Airport is about 1.5 hours by car, making the lodge an ideal base for enjoying all the best of what Guanacaste has to offer.
